Northwest of the Central Pampas region and next to the foothills of the mighty Andes lies the Sierra Chicas, a fabulous series of rolling hills where horse and riders' are seen roaming their lands or actively herding their cattle. For many a rider the main draw may be towards the south of the country and to the windswept plains of Patagonia. Here you can stay on an estancia or ride across the Andes into Chile.
