Cape Town is a cosmopolitan city with much to see and do. Apart from the vast array of shops and restaurants, the cable car ride up Table Mountain is not to be missed. There are many botanical gardens with the regions endemic flora as well as the Magellanic Penguins and numerous Nature Reserves. Garden Route

Situated between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, the Garden Route makes an ideal self-drive extension to any of our holidays in southern Africa. This malaria-free area offers pristine white beaches and lagoons, lush coastal forests and a number of game-filled national parks and private reserves. There are superb whale-watching opportunities off the coastline. Masses of sardines congregate in May bringing countless numbers of dolphins, while from July to November the Southern Right Whales come into the bays to mate and calve. Wonderful picturesque towns such as Knysna and Hermanus offer interesting visits. Along the route there are numerous charming guesthouses and hotels ensuring comfortable accommodation.
