Take a riding holiday to remember and ride through the breathtaking, unspoilt Exmoor National Park - no road work, just miles and miles of wild open moorland. You can choose from a full weeks stay or a winter weekend.
These holidays are run by Stephany, Amanda and Liz who do their best to ensure their guests feel really at ease by offering friendly farmhouse accommodation, traditional home cooking and fabulous riding.
All of the staff at High Bullen are committed to doing the best for their horses and to helping their guests get the maximum enjoyment they can from their holiday. Stephany will not only take you on some exhilarating rides but will introduce you to some of her Natural Horsemanship techniques to help both you and the horse understand each other, so that you can both fully enjoy your time together.
- Day 1 (D)
- Arrive High Bullen Farm, an old farmhouse perched on the very edge of Exmoor, late afternoon. After a chance to freshen up meet the horses before enjoying dinner.
- Day 2 to Day 6 (B,L,D)
- Five days to explore the magnificent Exmoor National Park on horseback - the gate opens straight onto the moor for miles and miles of off-road riding.
- Day 7 (B)
- Depart High Bullen Farm after breakfast.

- 6-night ride: £575
- Includes: Accommodation and meals as indicated and all riding.
- Departure Dates: Sundays from 06 April to end of October.
- 2-night ride: £250
- Includes: 2-nights accommodation, all meals and 3 hours riding for 2 days.
- Departure Dates: Fridays beginning of November to end of March.
- Single Supplement: Nil.
- The Accommodation: Accommodation is provided either in the farmhouse (shared facilities) or in the lodge. The rooms in the farmhouse are spacious and have hand-basins and wonderful views. There is a cosy sitting room and a huge kitchen with slate floor and an Aga. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a lounge.
- Food & Drink: Meals are excellently cooked, traditional farm fare. Large cooked breakfasts, light lunches, afternoon tea and 2-course dinners. Tea and coffee are included. High Bullen is licensed, so guests can purchase alcohol.
- Laundry: Is available and included within the price.
- Children: No children under 15.
- Non-Riders: Are welcome. There is plenty of great walking as well as nearby beaches to explore. A weeks stay for non-riders is available at £295.
