Riding and Wine in Bordeaux

This unique trail enables you to visit many of the finest vineyards and picturesque villages in the Bordeaux region, sampling fine wines and experiencing the area's rich culture along the way. Accommodation is provided in comfortable guesthouses and hotels and as you would expect in France, both lunches and dinners are gourmet experiences.
- Day 1
- Make your own way to Bordeaux and transfer to hotel for an overnight stay. (D)
- Day 2 to Day 7
- You will ride through the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, visit the majestic Citadelle of Blaye and taste the fine Cote de Blaye wine. The trail includes the Cote de Bourg, Bordeaux Superieur and Fronsac vineyards. A visit to the charming town of Libourne, Chateau Bellegrave and the medieval town of Saint Emilion is also included before riding on to the 13th Century Castle of Rauzan and the old village of Cadillac, where you may taste the Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux. Trot through the vineyards of Graves and Sauternes before spending your final night in the town of Sauternes itself. (B,L,D)
