On this holiday you stay at Holiday Horse Farm or at a nearby guesthouse. The farm is situated in the most beautiful and untouched area of Ireland - directly on the North West Atlantic coastline.The horse is yours for the duration of your holiday, so you may ride as frequently or as long as you want. As an individual or in a group, you will have an unforgettable holiday with lots of adventure, fun and relaxation. This horse riding holiday is also suitable for less experienced riders as there are horses to suit all abilities of rider.
An experienced guide will show you around, but you are free at any time, to ride as you please, before breakfast or at sunset. You can ride along miles of sandy beaches or trek along the lanes of the hinterland. You can improve your riding skills on the 10-mile cross-country course, which has over 50 obstacles.
- Day 1
- Make your own way to Ireland and the farm, which is, situated a short drive from the town of Sligo (transfers from Knock Airport can be arranged). Ensure that you arrive by midday so you have time to meet your horse and have a short trial ride to become acquainted with each other.
- Day 2 to Day 7 (B)
- You can look forward to each day with confidence. Your horse will take you at a leisurely amble along country lanes or a gallop along the beach - whichever you prefer. The county has a magnificent variety of mountain, lake, wood and coastline to explore. The jumps on the cross country course have been designed to cater for all different levels of jumping, so everyone can have fun.
Wednesday is rest day for the horses, which gives you the opportunity to relax and unwind or to tour the counties of Sligo and Donegal.

- Includes: 7 nights bed and breakfast accommodation and all riding. Please note that Wednesday is a rest day for the horses.
- Single Supplement: £70
- Departure Dates: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 26 April to mid November.
- The Accommodation: Accommodation is in the farmhouse or a comfortable guesthouse in the neighbourhood. The rooms have ensuite facilities and there is a sauna at the farm.
- Food & Drink: A substantial Irish Breakfast is included in the holiday cost. Lunch and dinner are paid for locally. At lunchtime and in the evening you can try a pub or a restaurant.
- Laundry: Not available.
- Children: Children of 12 plus are welcome but they must be accompanied by an experienced adult rider.
- Non-Riders: Not suitable.
