Riding by the Sea

5 days - Sligo to Sligo

This weekend break is ideal for individuals or groups and provides a wonderful introduction to Ireland's beautiful countryside.

Staying at the farmhouse or a comfortable guesthouse nearby, a horse will be yours for the duration of your holiday, so you may ride as frequently or as long as you want. As an individual or in a group, you will have an unforgettable holiday with lots of adventure, fun and relaxation.

An experienced guide will show you around, but you are free at any time, to ride as you please, before breakfast or at sunset. You can ride along miles of sandy beaches, explore the mountains or trek along the lanes of the hinterland. You can also improve your jumping skills on the 10-mile cross-country course, which has over 50 obstacles!

A substantial Irish Breakfast is included each day for you, lunch and dinner can be taken as you choose at local pubs or restaurants.

Day 1
Make your own way to Ireland and the farm, which is situated a short drive from the town of Sligo (transfers from Sligo or Knock Airport can be arranged). Ensure that you arrive by midday so you have time to meet your horse and have a short trial ride to become acquainted with each other. (B)
