Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use the Equine Adventures website?
To find your dream riding holiday you can either use the search facility in the top right corner of the home page, where you can search by the type of riding holiday you are looking for (i.e. trail ride) or by your riding ability. To choose your riding holiday by destination, please hover your mouse over the world regions in the top bar.
What are the rides like?
All of our rides are graded from beginner to professional rider, so you can ensure that you chose the right ride for you. On some of our rides we can cater for all levels. You don't need to be put of by this, it doesn't mean to say you will be forced to ride 'nose to tail' in a long string, or risk your life galloping madly out of control, it just means we have suitable horses and that your individual needs can be catered for. To work out your level please click here.
Do you have any new rides?
In addition to our established rides, we have introduced a number of new riding holidays. These include a fabulous ride with the Bushman(San) in the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, a ride in Mexico, a holiday that combines training and trail riding in Southern Spain, centre-based and trail riding in Tuscany, a riding tour of the Cape in South Africa, and closer to home - riding holidays on Exmoor, polo holidays in Berkshire and great riding breaks in Wales. We have also introduced a fabulous trail ride across Wales for those with their own horses, and both High Bullen and Brandy House offer accommodation for horse & rider.
I am travelling on my own, are your holidays suitable for me?
Thinking of travelling by yourself. No problem, on most of our rides there will be other people travelling by themselves, who share your interests - horses. And on many of our holidays we don't charge a single supplement if you are prepared to share.
