What to Pack

During the summer the weather tends to be dry throughout most of BC. Days can be hot and the nights cool. Freezing can occur in the evenings, and there are possibilities of snow at high elevations in any season. Trips take place as high as 9,500 feet, so you must be equipped to handle inclement weather. We ask that you are prepared (both mentally and physically) for unpredictable and sometimes challenging weather and pack accordingly. Layers that can be added and removed easily are recommended. Good waterproofs are essential.

As your luggage will be transported by packhorse it needs to be kept to a minimum and ideally should be packed in a soft roll bag (11kgs). You will however be able to leave some luggage at Chilcotin Ranch if you wish.
