- Swimming Costume.
- Jodhpurs or riding trousers.
- Short riding boots or ride/walk boots such as Ariat Terrain.
- Half chaps.
- Long sleeved shirt and/or T shirts,
- Fleece.
- Gloves.
- Underwear - cycling shorts are ideal for long days in the saddle.
- Warm jacket.
- Waterproof/windproof jacket.
- Sun hat.
- Warm hat.
- Casual clothes for non-riding days and evenings.
- Trainers or comfortable shoes for evening.
- Head torch
- Personal toiletries and small first aid kit.
- Sun block.
- Mosquito repellent.
- Lip balm.
- Sunglases.
- Camera, film, batteries and binoculars.
- Soft holdall bag to carry your clothes.
- Towel.
- Sleeping bag.
- Sleeping mat.
- Pillow
- Small saddle bag or bum bag. (Please note that a bum bag can cause severe injury in the event of a fall).
- Plastic bags for keeping gear dry.
- Cord for washing line.
Riding hats are not mandatory. However, we strongly recommend that you always ride in a hat and that it conforms to BHS requirements (PAS015, BSEN1384). Riding without a hat could affect a claim on insurance.
